Converting Modular Merchant to Beanbasket
Beanbasket has been getting many recent inquiries from current Modular Merchant customers wishing to convert to Beanbasket to more fully support OrderMotion's new OMX platform and UDI 2.0.
Following are a few questions but please contact us if you have any additional questions or requirements.
Can you convert Customer Files - Yes. Beanbasket can take customer files and load them into Beanbasket so returning customers will have access to the accounts they previously set up. This, of course, assumes that the data is accurate and complete. While we can convert the customer files you will need to clean up any incorrect or missing data.
Can you convert Order History - Yes but... For OrderMotion customers, all order history should be converted/loaded into OrderMotion. Beanbasket connects directly with OM's order history so it will show all orders including web and phone and mail order transactions. Please contact OrderMotion about that requirement.
What about Recurring Orders - Yes. Currently recurring orders are supported and loaded into OrderMotion as above. New recurring orders are placed in Beanbasket and posted in real time to OrderMotion.
How are products converted - All products should be set up in OrderMotion (if they are not already). We simply connect Beanbasket using your OM Biz ID and one click loads the store including descriptions, variances, subitems, related items, pricing, etc.
How are product images loaded - In Beanbasket you set up your standard sizes (thumb, small, large, zoom, etc) and relative resolutions for each to optimize page load times and then simply load one image and Beanbaskt's image management tool with automatically create the clones and assign them to the correct items. If you are using multiple different images (front/back or different poses) for items we just need to have a naming convention and we can automatically assign them to the correct item.
How does Beanbasket do the initial web site integration - You just provide us the HTML/CSS and we'll integrate our web store system into that design. The costs for that initial integration vary depending on the features activated and complexity of the design. We will create a detailed Scope of Work with screen shots and notations so you know exactly how everything will work and what the costs will be.
I want to do a new design - As above, provide us with the HTML/CSS and we'll make it work. If you do not have a designer on staff or a relationship with a web design firm we can recommend several quality designers that we have worked with. Because they have experience with Beanbasket's web store system they can typically streamline the startup and save some effort/cost on the initial start up.
I have Business and Wholesaler/Distributor customers - Beanbasket fully supports B2C (Enterprise Edition) and B2B (Business Builder) operations with features like Price Lists, Product Lists, Customized Stores, Product Limitations, Account Speciific Business Rules, Terms/PO payments, and much, much more.
I have multiple stores - Beanbasket can support mulitple stores feeding into the same OrderMotion account. Orders can have keycodes identifying the store and other powerful keycode manipulations to make reporting in OrderMotion reflect your organization.
