New Beanbasket Features

- » There have been numerous enhancements and a few bug fixes that have been recently released. Please check the release notes in the Help section of the Beanbasket Administrator for details. Some of the highlights include:
- » Implemented a fix to handle additional variable Authorize.Net results.
- » Added two new features based around Order Motion: 1) E-mail order transmission failures are e-mailed to the e-mail address specified in the Order Motion configuration in Beanbasket; and 2) Beanbasket now passes discount codes to Order Motion.
- » Improved the performance of Order Motion product loads.
- » Added unit of measure to item data.
- » Improved linking in the Administrator for image gallery pages.
- » Finalized the implementation of the application-based IP firewall. Now blocks any add to action attempt by a listed IP.
- » Added ability to accept a gift message within an order as a standard order field.
- » Added support for collecting additional information in custom fields per line item ordered.
- » Now automatically creates a test category and test item on a new catalog creation.
- » Added the ability to wildcard portions of qualifying products for coupons. Please reference the KnowledgeBase for additional information on how to setup a coupon like this.
- » Fixed an error where discounts that didn't pass minimum requirements were still getting discounted in Order Motion.
- » Improved reliability for customers that are currently using a real-time lookup of sales tax from Order Motion during the checkout process. If the Order Motion system is not available for a tax calculation, the systems will 'failover' to the tax tables available within Beanbasket. This will allow for an error free continuation of the checkout, thus saving the sale, even if the sales tax calculation isn't exactly the same as Order Motion's.
- » Released a feature that allows Beanbasket to post e-mail addresses directly to a mail management system, such as KnowledgeMarketing's ECN. Instead of collecting these addresses via e-mail and adding them manually, Beanbasket can now automatically commit those signups without any further manual processes. This process is compatible with most mail management systems. Please reference the KnowledgeBase for additional information.
- » Added a real-time posting of orders in a Yahoo Store Order format to a URL of your choosing. This is useful for adding additional services to your online store that are driven by the order feed format of Yahoo Store. This was specifically developed to build compatibility between Beanbasket and Amplifier, so that our customers can take advantage of Amplifier's fulfillment services.
